Today is Grandma Vickie's 50th birthday. Jaxon wants to send balloons to Heaven but there is no place in town to buy any. Bummer. I am sure she will still enjoy them, even if they are a day or two late.
"Happy Birthday Vickie"
It's sure to be the best one yet,
Though you left us here behind.
Did you think that we'd forget?
Your cake this year, will surely be,
A beauty to behold.
With the icing made of Silver,
And the candles made of Gold.
Yes your birthday in Heaven,
Will be such a grand affair.
And we know you'll look so lovely,
With a halo in your hair.
The Angels will come from everywhere,
To sing your birthday song.
And we know they'll be so happy,
That you've joined, God's Happy Throng.
No we can't send a card this year,
Or a bouquet of flowers.
So we'll just send a special prayer,
To that wonderful grand/mother of ours.
We love you, Grandma Vickie!

I'm sure that Vicky is looking down from Heaven right now to see her little grandsons wishing her a happy birthday.
You're such a great daughter-in-law! And it's awesome you help Jaxon celebrate!

Hi Brandi. Thanks so much for talking (texting) with me last night. Sure did help me sleep better, just had questions that I needed answered :) I'm so glad you guys were able to make the most of the day & celebrate. Have a good night/day. Oh, and thanks for being my directory assistance today too :)
Yeah I figured it was you when I saw the name "Keane" :) Yeah I think I'm going to do the same with Preston, keep him home for the rest of the month, and maybe till after he gets a flu shot. I called ScottsBluff & during the month of Nov. on Tues. & Thurs. at a clinic they will give the H1N1 if they have it. Crawford schools are not scheduled to get them in until mid November. I think Preston has pink eye too. CRAPOLA!!!!
What a nice poem -- happy birthday in Heaven, Vickie...
